DN Van Lines continues its expansion with new operations in Sterling, VA.
The District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia make up what is known as the DMV area. Washington, DC is one of the most transient and active moving markets in the world not just because of the political changes that happen but because it is home to foreign consulates, embassies, trade unions and lobbyists. While the population in DC is about 700,000, commuters swell the population to over a million daily. So, locating our newest operations in Sterling, Virginia within close proximity to the Washington, Dulles airport and the area’s High Tech Alley make perfect sense.
Lamar Porter, a 20 year veteran of the moving industry joins DN Van Lines as Branch Manager for the DMV location. “We’re creating a very natural connection between our headquarters in the Boston, MA area to our operations in Jacksonville, FL. Having this local presence in this dynamic market will create operational efficiencies and greatly improve our service to our customers.” cites Mr. Porter. Citing his experience in providing moving services to the US military, corporate and government accounts as well as consumers, Mr. Porter understands the specialized requirements unique to the area around our nation’s capital.
“This expansion is fueled by our consistent focus on our customers.” says Oded Carmi, President and Founder of DN Van Lines. “We’ve built a reputation one satisfied customer at a time, step by step. It’s great to see this part of our vision to be a nationwide service provider come alive.”
DN Van Lines DMV opens for business on May 1, 2021 with orders already on the books.
