Mike Kessler

Mike Kessler brings over 30 years of experience in the moving and logistics industry, with deep roots in the New York City market. He began his career in 1992 as a mover and steadily advanced through the ranks as a driver, foreman, and tractor-trailer operator. This hands-on background laid the foundation for a successful transition into sales, where he rose to Sales Manager at Meyers Mayflower.

In 2008, Mike became a managing partner at FlatRate International, a sister company to FlatRate Moving, where he developed and led global relocation services for more than 15 years. He also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, overseeing a large sales team and spearheading strategic growth initiatives in both domestic and international markets.

Mike is widely recognized for building high-performance sales strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and maintaining a strong focus on service quality and customer care—guided by his philosophy: "If you can't provide 100% service, don't do it."

In April 2025, Mike joined DN Van Lines as Vice President of Global Sales, where he leads the company's international expansion efforts and forges strategic partnerships with global moving companies to grow DN Van Lines’ U.S. presence.

Mike is based in New York City and splits his time with his second home in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Outside of work, he enjoys riding dirt bikes, traveling the country by motorcycle, and practicing his skills as a scratch chef.
