Corporate Relocation Coordinator
Janet Turner has combined experience in the moving and transportation industry that equates to over 45 years, and 23 years of that experience included being owner and operator of WISEnterprises, Inc. a household good forwarder in Staten Island NY. After closing her business in 2014, Janet moved to Florida. She continued to work in the industry as a remote employee and was hired by Accelerated International in October 2014 as Director of Sales and Marketing. She continued in that role until December 2020 when she joined DN Van Lines Inc, where she currently works as Corporate Relocation Coordinator, and CCO-Chief Care Officer. DN Van Lines is an independent van lines with 3 offices in MA, FL and VA.
Janet considers moving a very personal experience, but most things with Janet are about being personal and serving others. Janet brings with her a wealth of industry knowledge with focus on international moving/freight forwarding. Developing a new “corporate relocation” department for DN Van Lines has been a very exciting reinvention at this point in her career.
Her focus for DN Van is to grow, develop and manage business development with RMC’s, corporate communities, as well as provide o/a and d/a services for movers around the globe, at the same time implementing system, processes, and supply chain building.
Janet loves to learn, network, and be involved with innovative thinkers. She believes there is value to mentoring up as well as mentoring down. Janet served as “elder” intern producer on the Love & Relo webcast for over 1 year and has served on the Board of Directors for the Southern Regional Relocation Council for over 4 years. Additionally, Janet enjoys being creative and has hobbies that include custom tea blending, herbal medicine producing, bead and wiring, pottery, and clay projects, cooking and wine/craft beer tasting. She shows LOVE by cooking and serving her family and friends.
Janet currently resides in historic home in Sorrento Florida and spends summer months in her tiny “log cabin” home in the Poconos.
