The men sent to my house did an amazing job. They arrived on time and worked from 9 to 4:30. Their wrapping was exceptional. We had a different crew unload us because we moved out of state. They even commented the job was incredibly! Nothing broke and no scratches! My daughter is moving soon and I recommended her to use them! She is going to use them. Our coordinator Liz was amazing helping us through the process!

Moving To or From Wayland MA?
Wayland is a MetroWest town in Middlesex County, about 18 miles west of Boston, along the Sudbury River. It began in 1638 as the first settlement of the Sudbury Plantation, on the river's east bank. The east side of Sudbury split away and was incorporated as East Sudbury on April 10, 1780, and on March 11, 1835 the town voted to rename it Wayland, in honor of Rev. Francis Wayland, the president of Brown University. Wayland had 13,943 residents at the 2020 census, and it includes the village of Cochituate, a census-designated place at the south end of town.
Wayland's historic village center, the Wayland Center Historic District, has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1974, and Wayland has one of the first free public libraries in Massachusetts. The town is known for its open space, including Lake Cochituate, Dudley Pond, the Wayland Town Beach on North Pond, the Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge along the Sudbury River and the paved Mass Central Rail Trail. Homes range from antique farmhouses and mid-century modern houses to Capes and ranches around the ponds. If you are looking for movers Wayland MA residents trust, you want a crew that is comfortable with older homes, wooded lots and lakeside streets.
Local Moving Services in Wayland, MA
Wayland's wooded lots and older roads mean access, driveway length and parking vary from move to move, and Cochituate's lakeside streets have their own tight spots. We confirm where the truck can park and how much carrying to expect before moving day, and we plan crew size around the size of the home. Our local moving services put moving pads and blankets on your furniture and start with a walkthrough before anything is lifted.
Pet-Friendly Move Day Planner
Moving day can be stressful for pets, with open doors, strangers and a lot of noise. Tell the planner which pets you have and whether you are moving locally or a long distance, and it builds a short checklist to keep them safe and calm. It is general guidance, so check with your vet for any pet with special needs.

Long-Distance Moves From Wayland, MA
Wayland does not have its own commuter rail station, but it sits near the Massachusetts Turnpike and Route 128, which makes a move out of state straightforward. DN Van Lines has branches in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida, so your move stays with one federally licensed carrier from pickup to delivery. See our long-distance moving services for how interstate scheduling and pricing work.
Commercial & Office Moves in Wayland, MA

You can pack everything yourself, hand us only the fragile rooms, or have the crew pack the entire house. Our packing services cover full-service packing and unpacking, crating for artwork and special pieces, and eco-friendly materials.
Storage Options for Wayland Moves
If your move-out and move-in dates do not match, our storage services run out of our secure, climate-controlled Northborough warehouse and include overnight in-truck storage, short-term storage and long-term storage, with discounted rates for customers who move with us.
Winter Moving Tips for Wayland
Snow and ice make steps, long driveways and lakeside streets a hazard when furniture is being carried, and side roads can lag behind in plowing. We lay floor and threshold protection on every move and plan extra time when the forecast is poor. Tell us about steep or winding driveways so we can plan the right truck and timing.
When to Book a Wayland Move
We recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks ahead for most moves, and 6 to 8 weeks for summer or a move tied to a closing date. If you have pets, plan their moving day in advance, using the planner above.
What Moving Day Looks Like With Wayland Movers
Your crew arrives within the window we confirm and walks the home with you before anything is lifted. We note fragile items, confirm where the truck will park and lay floor runners and door-jamb protection at both ends. Every shipment carries the federally required valuation coverage, and we will walk you through full-value protection for higher-value items. Most local Wayland moves finish in a single day.
Serving Wayland and Nearby Communities
Wayland borders several towns we serve every week, so many moves here are short hops. We regularly handle moves between Wayland and Sudbury, Weston, Lincoln, Natick and Framingham, all served by our Northborough-based crews.
Why Wayland Movers Choose DN Van Lines
Every mover on our trucks is a background-checked W-2 employee, never day labor or an unfamiliar subcontracted crew. We are A+ rated with the Better Business Bureau, a member of the Massachusetts Movers Association, federally licensed under USDOT 1141917 and approved for Department of Defense and GSA relocations. What Our Customers Say
Verified reviews from people who have moved with DN Van Lines.
Incredible movers! Great communication throughout the entire process. Once they arrived at my new apartment the elevators broke!!! But the guys weren’t phased. They carried all my furniture and boxes up two flights of stairs without complaint or charging me extra!!! USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!!!
Our crew was fantastic and took such great care of our things. Our house was put in the truck and unloaded the same day and with great care. They communicated with us when some issues did arise and we're sure to verify where everything went before putting it in the new house. Anything they thought would break they told us about and put it in our car for us. Overall a fantastic experience and I would reccomend them to anyone.
Best moving company we have ever used. This is our second move in a year and we used them both times. We got completely different crews each time and both were phenomenal. No complaining about things being heavy, great care with all furniture and belongings, polite, very hard workers. They actually work the whole time they are there ( we have had others that stand around talking and taking many breaks). Pricing was very reasonable and coordination of the move with Tommie was very well communicated and clear! No surprises at the end like many moving companies. Highly highly recommend!
DN Van lines were very helpful with our PCS pack up. The team made up of Kevin F, Steve P, and Richard Z were awesome. These guys were fast, efficient and very professional. Also super nice! We appreciated them every step of the way. Thanks so much for helping us with our move!
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience moving from MA to MI. Liz the move coordinator was top notch. Answered all my questions promptly and was super helpful. The moving crew led by Eduardo were so fast and careful loading and unloading. Great experience from beginning to end
Could not recommend this company enough. Elizabeth, our move coordinator, was clear, easy to communicate with, and always available for any questions we had. We had a team of 3 movers help us out day-of, and they worked SO hard, non-stop from the moment they got there- not to mention on a very hot day! When we arrived at our new home, they asked us about each piece of furniture, and placed it in the room exactly where we would want it, set everything up. Overall very thorough, and we were very impressed!
I have had my furniture in storage with them for 6+ years. I finally moved it to our second home in SC. They have gone far beyond my expectations on beholding my forever furniture. Liz was amazing on coordinating my move seamlessly. The movers were professional and so patient with me trying to find the right fit. I knew I had more furniture than I needed, Liz said no problem , send it back and they would donate it to women in need. I highly recommend them. A local business who takes care of their local clients and beyond. I thank them so very much!!
Your team was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. I, as well as my brother and sister could not believe how efficient and respectful they all were and how they carefully handled my possessions. I would give them a 10 star rating. And, your price was extremely reasonable. Nice to find such a committed team of workers.
DN Van Lines was excellent to work with. Liz was very helpful in coordinating and planning my move. The crew was amazing! They were professional, courteous, and very hard working. Overall and great experience.
