Emily Leonard

Emily joined DN Van LInes in April of 2020 as the Director of Government logistics. Since then, Emily has successfully opened up and run the Sterling, VA location.

Prior to joining the DN Van Lines team Emily worked with several big players in the moving industry in the Long Distance Planning role as well as the Senior Allocations Manager. She has been in the industry for 15 years and has a vast understanding and knowledge of how the industry works.

Emily attended School at NVCC in the Criminal Justice field and later attended the Culinary Institute in the late 2000's. In 2020 Emily graduated from AMSA's leadership program which taught her to be a responsible industry leader.

Emily values the friendships and partnerships created during her time in the household good industry. Emily believes that relationships in this industry are mission critical in success. Emily prides herself on lifelong friendships with drivers, managers and owner across the industry.

What Emily enjoys most about DN Van Lines, is that ownership has given her unlimited room to grow. Emily loves being able to tap into creative solutions, ideas, and have support from the ownership to make it happen.

When Emily is not in the office, she is on the softball field coaching her daughter's travel team. Last year the team made it to the last round of the state championship. Go Team!

Emily lives with her three daughters, Ashtyn Faith & Lily in Reston, VA. Emily enjoys her very large pup and often brings him into the office.  He has become the DN VA family mascot.
