Oded Carmi, President and Janet Turner, Director of Corporate Relocations recently visited the DN Van Lines Jacksonville, Florida office to meet with the management team in order to plan service enhancements for the upcoming peak season. DN Van Lines welcomes Geoff James to the position of Assistant Manager. Geoff comes to DN Van Lines with over 17 years of experience starting in warehouse operations. As a former owner operator, Geoff has a Class A license and understands the important role that operations staff play in achieving customer satisfaction.
John Blackledge sees his branch building on the strong growth they experienced even during the pandemic. “Tele-work and other trends related to the changes that the pandemic accelerated have created strong consumer demand. Hiring qualified staff continues to be a challenge so our discussions and planning focused on improved efficiency and getting more from our existing resources. The planning discussions have been great and having Geoff on board is going to be such a big help. We feel very ready for a big summer season.”
Janet was especially enthused with the meeting saying “Growth is what I was hired for, and seeing us come together to brainstorm, team build and collaborate is so exciting to me. Working together day to day on systems, emails, and telephone is one thing but getting together in person like this gives it the “heart and personal” touch.
